Expert Tree and Shrub Care with Kapp’s Lawn Care

Spring - Deep Root Feeding
Our care begins in the spring with deep root feeding. This process delivers essential nutrients directly to the root zones of your ornamental trees and shrubs, promoting robust growth and vibrant blooms. By providing the necessary nutrients at the beginning of the growing season, we ensure your plants have the strength to resist environmental stressors and grow with vigor.

Insect and Disease Treatment
Insects and diseases can severely affect your landscape, which is why we apply targeted treatments during the spring to safeguard your plants. This preventative step addresses common pests like aphids and beetles, as well as diseases that could otherwise damage your trees and shrubs. By protecting new growth early, we help your landscape flourish.

Summer - Monitoring and Treatment
Throughout the summer, we continuously monitor your trees and shrubs to ensure they remain healthy. Additional treatments are applied as needed to manage pests and diseases that can persist through the warmer months. This regular care ensures that your plants are protected during the peak of the growing season when they are most vulnerable to threats.

Fall - Recovery and Root Strengthening
As summer comes to an end, your trees and shrubs need help recovering from the heat and preparing for winter. Another deep root feeding is applied in the fall to strengthen your plants and encourage root development. This feeding helps your landscape recover from summer stress and builds resilience for the colder months ahead.

Winter - Dormant Oil Application
To prevent pests from overwintering, we apply dormant oil to your trees and shrubs in late fall or early winter. This treatment targets pests like scale insects and mites, reducing their numbers and protecting your plants for the following growing season.
